Cardell Exhibit Service

Interactive Exhibit Service · Washington

The original shop is gone. Saturday still happens.

You keep the exhibit. We do not rebuild the gallery.

Services

Technical service for existing interactive exhibits.

Survey

We come to the learning center. We play each interactive, open the cabinet if it is meant to open, and write down what is in it and what is failing.

You get: one half-day on site, then a punch list in five days. Each station has a name, what is wrong, and one clear next step.

You do not get: a repair that day, new videos, or a new cabinet. If something is hardwired, a TV, or a projector, the list says who should handle it. We do not surprise you with that work.

Break/fix

The station already on the floor. We diagnose it and repair it so the same show runs again.

You get: someone on site who already knows this kind of cabinet. If a cable, memory card, power supply, or button died, we replace that and the exhibit stays itself.

You do not get: a new computer if the old player is dead. That is a conversion, and we will say so before we do it. We do not rewrite your content or rebuild the woodwork.

Conversion

The player or controller is dead. We take it out and put in a new one that plays the same media, uses the same buttons, and sits in the same cabinet.

You get: the station working again, a spare card you can swap if you have to, and a one-page operator card in plain English (how to power it, how to swap the spare, who to email). Your staff can keep it running without us in the building.

You do not get: new videos, a new cabinet, a new TV, or anything that mounts to the building. If a display is the thing that failed, that is a TV or projector shop, not us. If you want a carpenter, you hire the carpenter. We do the player.

Care

A one-year agreement for the stations you name. We come back on a schedule, play them, and tell you what is dying before Saturday does.

You get: a named list in writing, periodic checks, and a person who already has the spare and the notes. Parts and conversions are extra, and we quote them first.

You do not get: unlimited emergency visits, new stations added in silence, or a remodel. If something dies between checks, that is a break/fix visit, quoted like one.

How it works

Survey to approved work.

  1. Survey

We spend a half-day on the floor.

  2. Punch list

Within five days you get a written punch list.

  3. Break/fix, conversion, or care

Then only what you circled gets done. Nothing else starts until you say so.
